For example, Mydoh Tasks allows you to set tasks such as doing the dishes where they can be marked as complete so your child can be paid.
The app is powered by the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC), which ensures activities in your account are encrypted, and funds remain secure.
Under the Parent Account, you have your Kid’s Account, where your kids can manage their tasks, spend their limit through the Smart Cash Card, follow earnings and spending, and access Play to learn money basics. You can add up to 5 kids and an additional parent to ensure you’re making the most of its features.
The kid’s Payday is every Saturday, giving them a chance to strategize and make their money last until their next Payday.
Mydoh’s Smart Cash Card allows kids to use online and in-store under their permitted limit. This can help kids become independent and make money decisions so they can learn the importance of money.
The card is reloadable, which means you can put in the money they are allowed to spend. You can also view all the activities in the account to guide them.
Another benefit included with Mydoh’s Kid’s Account is the Savings Goal feature which allows kids to set up a goal and set a target amount and date to complete the plan.

Mydoh costs as little as $2.99 a month regardless of how many kids/adults are on the account. The fee will be taken out of your Mydoh Parent Wallet automatically.
Please note there is no cancellation fee if you decide to close your account.
You can add up to 5 kids (between the ages of 6 and 18) to your Parent Account.
Mydoh is working on making this as accessible to more kids as possible.
In addition to being allowed up to 5 kids, Mydoh allows one additional parent to be added to the Parent Account at no extra cost.
