Is the Crypto.com Visa Card a Credit Card?

No. It’s a prepaid card, which works differently from a credit card. Think of it as a debit card, except it's not linked to your bank account. You make a bank transfer or use your credit card, debit card, or crypto holdings to add money to your card.

How Do I Apply for a Crypto.com Visa Card?

You can apply for a Crypto.com visa card through the Crypto.com app. First, create an account, then complete their KYC verification. Afterwards, purchase CRO tokens. If you aren’t buying CRO directly in the App, deposit them into your Crypto Wallet in the App. Once you’ve bought your CRO tokens, you’ll need to stake them for 180 days. You will then receive your card.

What’s Staking?

Staking involves placing your funds for a specified time with a specific platform. When applying for a Crypto.com Visa card, you'll park your CRO tokens with Crypto.com for 6 months.
