Tips when using OneVanilla Card
- When going to gas stations, pay the cashier inside to avoid having your $100 hold, as most gas stations will put a $100 hold when you pay at the pump to ensure you have enough funds.
- Pay your online bills with the OneVanilla Card, which is simple, safe and convenient.
- Check with the merchant beforehand whether they allow split transactions so you can pay with two forms of payment, e.g. cash and OneVanilla Card.
- When shopping online, use your mailing address in case you need to be contacted by a merchant. Remember that your personal information is not connected to your OneVanilla card.
- Always know your balance before using your card to tip restaurants, hair salons, spas etc., as they may place a hold on your card equivalent to the full-service amount of up to 20%.
- As mentioned, check your balance before you use your card, as merchants cannot determine the balance of your card.
