Decentralized Application (DAPP)

What is a decentralized application (DAPP)?

Decentralized Application (DAPP) Definition: DApps are digital applications or programs that run on a P2P system or a blockchain, on a set of computers instead of a single system. Decentralized applications, or DApps, are commonly built on ETH or Ethereum platforms and run on a network of computer systems, allowing for more freedom in control so that a single authority cannot interfere in the development and flexibility of these systems.

There is less censorship, better privacy controls, and more flexibility in DApps. In cases where code modifications or other development changes are attempted, there may be challenges involved.
