Proof of Authority (PoA)

What is proof of authority (PoA)?

Proof of Authority (PoA) Definition: Networks with a PoA or Proof of Authority, are used to validate accounts that are approved for validating data. Once approved, validators run the software, allowing them to place transactions in blocks inside the platform.
